Yuling Chen attended Haikou Jingshan School, a private branch of Beijing Jingshan School. In 2008 she enrolled in sichuan university studying chemistry. In 2010 she exchanged to the university of prince edward island to study chemistry and theatre. in 2015 she enrolled in ocad university studying creative writing and documentary media. while at upei, she was a research assistant to AIRS advanced interdisciplinary research in singing. in 2019 she graduated from ocad university with a bfa degree focusing on videos installation.
