California is a state where people go to die. It emits the glamorous smell of otherworldly beings. People talk about swamps. All they see is mountains, trails and a sea deadly and exhausted of all resources. Where are the swamps? How can you drain something that doesn’t exist? When people talk about California they started to have an extreme fear due to all the money talks and county jails. It’s untameable. It’s hard to fathom. It’s difficult to imagine. What type of people live there? Why did Joan didion write about it in the first place? Will it have a referendum soon? Is all the water talk just a mirage for rich people to speak the language of money and capitalism? Does it have something to do with Israel Palestine? I wonder. Etc.
